Light Snowfall likely today

Kathmandu, 29 Jan: The weather is mostly clear in the hilly areas of the country this afternoon. while most of the Terai region has been affected with fog since morning.

The westerly wind is partially affecting, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division. There is a possibility of light snowfall in the afternoon in some places of high hills and mountain areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

Later tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in hilly areas and mainly clear in the rest of the areas.

Daily life, health, transportation and air services may be affected as most of the places in the Tarai will be covered by fog today, says the Department.
