LACM conducted On-Campus final of Hult Prize

Little Angels’ College of Management (LACM) accomplished the On-Campus final of the Hult Prize for the year 2022/23 at its premises on 30th January, 2023 under the theme set for the year “Redesigning Fashion.”

The Hult Prize with prize money of $ 1 million – an annual, year-long competition that crowds-sources ideas from university level students – is a global startup prize which “challenges young people around the world to solve the planet’s most pressing issues through social entrepreneurship”.

Team ‘The Chosen Ones’ with members Rajeev Gurung, Ujwal Maharjan & Prasansa Bhattarai who described their team as “A group of diverse, young and energetic people with fresh minds who are ready to face new challenges and are always willing to commit to their goal,” won the On-Campus competition.

The judging panel for the competition comprised of Ms. Nasana Bajracharya; Founder at Rekriti, Mr. Mandeep Bashistha; Director at Leaf Plus Pvt Ltd and Ms. Sagarika Malla; Founder at SS Fashion Nepal.

The total of 6 teams had participated with excellent business ideas. Each team had a 4-minute time to pitch their business ideas followed by another 4-minute Q&A by the judging panel.

The winning team will now compete in the Regional Summits for a spot at the 4-week Global Accelerator Program.

The On-Campus final was inaugurated by the General Secretary of ISKON, HG Rupeshwor Gaur who provided a great learning session to the audience by talking about his journey into spirituality.
