KMG Chair Sirohiya remanded to 3-day judicial custody

Kathmandu, 22 May: The Dhanusha District Court has allowed three-day judicial custody to Kailash Sirohiya, Chief of Kantipur Media Group (KMG) today.

The remand order was issued after the police produced him before the court and asked for ten days remand.

Sirohiya was arrested last evening from his office chamber at the Central Plaza in Thapathali on allegation of citizenship misuse. He, subsequently, was driven off to Dhanusha.

The arrest warrant was issued by Dhanusha District court on Tuesday following a request by the district police to investigate him allegedly for posing multiple citizenships.
