KMC team at Baluwatar to fence Lalita Niwas land (Pictures)

Kathmandu, 02 July: A team from Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has reached Baluwatar to put up a fence so as to protect the public land belonging to  Lalita Niwas.

SP Dinesh Kumar Aryal informed that the team led by Metropolitan Police Chief Raju Pandey reached Baluwatar to encircle the land. The KMC is going to put up a fence so as to protect the public land, he added.

The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the police is interrogating four people in custody who have been detained on June 27 including Min Bahadur Gurung, the owner of Bhat Bhateni Supermarket following the land scam.

Though the CIB had detained seven people, three were released after some hours’ time as they had an interim order against arrest.
