Kiran Khanal elected RSP district president in Dang with 196 votes

Kiran Khanal has been elected as the district president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in Dang. The new leadership was chosen through elections after a consensus could not be reached. Voting was held for the positions of president, vice-president, secretary, and joint secretary as part of the party’s district convention.

In the elections, Kiran Khanal was elected president, Nirajan Thapa as vice-president, Asim Bhusal as secretary, and Pramila Roka Magar as joint secretary. Kiran Khanal won the presidency with 196 votes. His closest competitor, Binay Ghimire, received 124 votes, while Kedar Razaure and Kiran Acharya received 6 and 2 votes, respectively.

For the vice-president position, Nirajan Thapa secured victory with 241 votes, while Sunita Rawat received 89 votes. Asim Bhusal was elected secretary with 200 votes, defeating his opponent Baliram Khatri, who got 123 votes. Pramila Roka Magar was elected joint secretary with 148 votes, while other candidates Deepak Gaire and Somraj Basnet received 108 and 63 votes, respectively.

With the election of the new leadership, RSP Dang has announced plans to prioritize organizational expansion, party strengthening, and public relations programs.
