Kathmandu City Council’s 19th session set for Jestha 31 at 11 AM

Kathmandu – The 19th session of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Council is scheduled for Jestha 31. The 50th municipal executive meeting held on Tuesday decided the date for the session.

The meeting passed the proposal to hold the first meeting of the 19th session of the municipal council at the National Assembly Hall on Jestha 31, Sunday at 11 AM, according to acting chief Sunita Dangol.

She stated, “I present the proposal to convene the 19th session of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Council, with the first meeting to be held on Jestha 31, Sunday at 11 AM at the National Assembly Hall.”

Additionally, the meeting approved the local curriculum in the Nepal Bhasa language for early childhood development and pre-primary levels. Schools within Kathmandu Metropolitan City will conduct classes up to grade 8 in Nepal Bhasa.

The curriculum has been approved for implementation at the pre-primary level as well, as stated by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
