The death caused by the powerful earthquake that struck west Nepal last night has so far taken a toll of 154.
Jajarkot- the epicenter- accounted for 92 deaths while the figure from Rukum West reached 62, as per latest available data.
The figure of injured stands over 150. Three severely injured from Rukum West have been airlifted to hospital at Surkhet by the army.
Aathbiskot Municipality alone accounted for 60 injuries, said Dhankumari Shahi, Deputy-Mayor.
As the massive search and rescue operation continues, figures are expected to rise further.
The quake that hit Ramidanda in Jajarkot as epicenter and areas far beyond Friday night was measured 6.4 magnitude.
