Gurung of Bhatbhateni donates 1 crore 11 lakhs rupees to flood victims.
Kathmandu: Min Bahadur Gurung, the chairman of Bhatbhateni Supermarkets, a chain department store spread across Nepal, has announced a donation of 1 crore 11 lakhs rupees for flood victims.
He has informed that he is going to provide the said assistance for the rescue and relief of flood victims through Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. He has also informed that he is going to deposit the assistance in the government relief fund, stating that thousands of citizens have been displaced due to the recent incessant rains.
“I have announced a donation of 1 crore 11 lakhs 11 thousand 1 hundred and 11 rupees for the flood victims,” his press note states.
In the press note, Gurung has also mentioned that it is the duty of the citizens to help when the country is facing difficulties due to the loss of billions of rupees.
