Gujarat Titans secure fourth consecutive win, climb to second in IPL standings

Gujarat Titans climbed to second place in the points table of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after securing their fourth consecutive win. In the match concluded on Saturday night, Gujarat defeated Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs.

After losing the toss, Gujarat batted first and scored 229 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Shubman Gill played an innings of 84 runs, while Sai Sudharsan contributed 55 runs. Washington Sundar remained not out with 37 runs.

In response, Rajasthan Royals were all out for 152 runs in 16.3 overs. Vaibhav Suryavansh was the top scorer for them with 36 runs. Dhruv Jurel and Ravindra Jadeja scored 24 and 38 runs, respectively.

In the effort to restrict Rajasthan cheaply, Rashid Khan bowled 4 overs, taking 4 wickets for 33 runs. Jason Holder claimed 3 wickets, while Kagiso Rabada and Mohammed Siraj took 2 and 1 wicket, respectively.
