Government invites applications for key media leadership positions in Nepal

The government has called for applications for the vacant position of Chairperson at the Press Council Nepal and the Public Service Broadcasting Corporation.

The Ministry of Information and Communication published a notice on Thursday, inviting applications to select qualified candidates through a competitive process.

According to the notice issued by the ministry, applications are invited from interested and qualified individuals for the positions of Chairperson of the Press Council Nepal, Chairperson of the Public Service Broadcasting Corporation, and General Manager of the Gorkhapatra Corporation.

As per the notice, interested candidates must submit their applications to the ministry by office hours on Monday, Jestha 18, 2083. Application forms, required qualifications, necessary documents, and other detailed information are available on the ministry’s website at https://mocit.gov.np/.

The published notice states that one candidate will be selected for each of the three positions through open competition.
