Government cancels call for Public Service Broadcasting Corporation chairperson applications

The government has canceled the call for applications for the position of Chairperson of the Public Service Broadcasting Corporation just 24 hours after it was announced.

The Ministry of Information and Communication issued a notice on Thursday stating that the previously published call for applications has been canceled due to special reasons.

The ministry had published a public notice on 2083 Jestha 7, inviting applications for the vacant position of Chairperson at the Public Service Broadcasting Corporation. However, on Friday, another notice was issued informing that the call had been canceled.

Although the notice from the ministry mentioned “special reasons” for the cancellation, it did not disclose the specific reasons behind the decision.
