Gold price drops by Rs 1,000, silver rises by Rs 65 in Nepal

Kathmandu – Compared to last Friday, the price of gold has decreased in the local market today, while the price of silver has increased.

Gold has dropped by Rs 1,000 per tola, whereas silver has increased by Rs 65. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold today is set at Rs 295,100 per tola, and the price of silver is Rs 5,010 for the same quantity.

Last Friday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 296,100 per tola, and silver was traded at Rs 4,945 for the same amount.

According to international media, in the international market today, gold is being traded at $4,750 per ounce, and silver at $75 for the same quantity.
