Former King Shah Offers Prayers at Janakpur’s Sankatmochan Temple

Janakpurdham — Former King Gyanendra Shah offered prayers today at the Sankatmochan Temple in Janakpurdham.

On Tuesday evening at around 4 p.m., Shah visited the Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple, located beside Rangbhumi Ground, and performed religious rites and worship.

The former monarch arrived in Janakpurdham Sunday evening. On Monday, he visited the Janaki Temple where he also conducted prayers and darshan.

After his worship at the Janaki Temple that day, Shah walked about 500 meters to the nearby Ram Temple and the Rajdevi Temple, where he also offered prayers and participated in religious ceremonies.
