Foreign Minister Khanal to visit India for bilateral talks on Friday

Kathmandu – Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal is set to embark on a three-day official visit to neighboring India starting Friday.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he will visit India from Jestha 22 to 24 at the invitation of Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar.

During the visit, Minister Khanal will hold formal bilateral talks with Indian Foreign Minister Jaishankar. The ministry’s statement noted that discussions will cover various topics of mutual interest between the two countries.

The visit aims to further strengthen economic and trade relations, advance existing cooperation in connectivity, hydropower, and energy trade, and deepen the traditional and cultural ties between the citizens of the two countries.

Foreign Minister Khanal is scheduled to return home on Jestha 24 after completing the three-day official visit.
