Flooding blocks Siddhicharan Highway in Udayapur; BP Highway restrictions imposed

Kathmandu – The Siddhicharan Highway at Daldale, located in Udayapur Katari Municipality-14, has been completely obstructed due to flooding caused by unseasonal rainfall on Baisakh 26.

Central Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Avin Narayan Kafle, informed that the highway at Daldale in Udayapur Katari Municipality-14 has been fully blocked since Saturday.

In anticipation of potential flooding on the BP Highway section running from Khurkot in Sindhuli to Nepalthok and Katunje Bensi in Kavrepalanchok, the police have announced a ban on all vehicular movement from 5 PM to 5 AM starting Baisakh 21 until further notice.
