Farmers protested throwing vegetables across road

The farmers in Chitwan have announced ‘Farmer Movement’ Friday afternoon.

The farmers gathered at Pulchok in Narayangadh with vegetables like squash, cauliflower, tomato, cabbage and the like have protested throwing the vegetables across the east-west highway.

Throwing the products, they have stated that the farmers are being deprived even to get the cost of production as vegetables from India have been imported in pretty high quantities.

The farmers have alerted the government against how the vegetable market is being dominated by imported Indian vegetables.

The large mass of farmers gathered with the demand to encourage local agricultural products has announced to come with further protest programmes.
