Twitter on Thursday has suspended many accounts of the journalists who were covering Musk as well as undergoing activities of Twitter, U.S. media report.
According to the CNN “The impulsive and unjustified suspension of a number of reporters, including CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, is concerning but not surprising. Twitter’s increasing instability and volatility should be of incredible concern for everyone who uses Twitter.”
Neither Musk nor Twitter has responded to why the suspension occurred.
However, Musk tweeted Thursday stating “Any account doxxing real-time location info of anyone will be suspended, as it is a physical safety violation. This includes posting links to sites with real-time location info”.
“Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is no,” he said in another tweet.
