Prime Minister KP Oli enjoys humiliating and insulting his political opponents. But this time, he has stooped too low and defended blood bath that he has caused.

Oli is primarily responsible for ordering state repression and resultant cold-blooded murder of at least 19 youths, hope and future of this country, stating they were killed to defend ‘constitutional ‘ institutions.

Constitutionalism and state institutions have been denigrated and defiled to the bottom under the current political dispensation. There is rampant corruption and no accountability. Youths were only demanding end of corruption and fixing responsibility for the plunder of state exchequer by the people in power.

Oli-Deuba-Prachanda and Madhes centric forces which have been in power for two decades stood together to ignore the demand for probe into corruption high places.

Now Oli says he will pay ‘proper’ compensation to the family of youths whose life, potential and future has been snatched by the state’s bullets. Oli must apologize unconditionally and quit and face a probe for the state terror he has unleashed on the future of this country.

This country can not afford tolerating him in power at the cost of the life of our youths, our future. Read the writing on the Wall and Mr Oli, show some grace, and QUIT.
