Earthquake Strikes Bajhang with Epicenter Near Rayal

Kathmandu – An earthquake has struck Bajhang district with its epicenter around Rayal.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center in Lainchaur, a 4.1 magnitude earthquake occurred at 1:14 PM today, with its epicenter near Rayal.

Earlier, on Chaitra 3, a 4.0 magnitude earthquake had struck with its epicenter around Sitaula in Darchula.

As Nepal lies in the Himalayan region, small and large earthquakes occur from time to time.
