District Administration Office Lifts Curfew in Birgunj

The District Administration Office (DAO), Parsa, has lifted the curfew order previously imposed in Birgunj.

Issuing a statement on Tuesday, the administration informed that the curfew was removed effective from 3:30 PM. The curfew had been in place since Monday.

All-Party Meeting for Peace and Order

In a move to maintain law and order in Birgunj, an all-party meeting was held at the District Administration Office. The meeting resulted in a collective decision to halt further demonstrations.

Bhola Dahal, the Chief District Officer (CDO) of Parsa, stated that the meeting was organized to ensure peace and security in light of the protests occurring over the past few days.
