Disaster Management National Council meeting ongoing

Kathmandu — The 19th meeting of the National Council for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management is currently in session. The meeting is being held at the Prime Minister’s Office.

A session was convened on Saturday and Sunday to discuss the disasters that struck across the country following the monsoon rains. It has been reported that the meeting will deliberate on providing relief, reopening roads, and related matters.

Prime Minister Sushila Karki, government ministers, provincial chief ministers, and officials from relevant governmental bodies are in attendance.
