Kathmandu, Poush 9 — Nepal’s first and only large-scale trade show for the cosmetics, beauty, and wellness industry, “Cosmetica 2025,” is set to take place.

The expo will be held from Poush 11 to 13 (December 26–28, 2025) at Amrapali Banquet in Naxal, Kathmandu.

Organized by House of Rajkarnikar with support from the Nepal Cosmetics Business Association and the Beautician Professional Association of Nepal, the event’s main objective is to bring together brands, manufacturers, distributors, importers, suppliers, and business professionals from the beauty and wellness sector on a single platform.

The expo will target both B2B and B2C audiences and showcase new products, services, technologies, and trends in the industry. Exhibitors will include cosmetic brands, skincare and haircare companies, personal care and wellness brands, packaging firms, beauty schools, plastic surgery clinics, hair care and hair implant clinics, dental care clinics, and other related businesses.

Activities throughout the event will feature “Hall of Fame” honors for significant contributors to beauty and wellness, free trials and sample distribution, a special selfie kiosk, brand launches, live makeup and hairstyling demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and opportunities for direct consultations with experts.

Prominent participants and attractions will include presentations and sessions by notable industry figures such as Kamala Shrestha of Syam Beauty Parlor, Sunita Shrestha of Boss Beauty Academy, and Vigyan Joshi of True Derma, among others.

Over the past decade, Nepal’s cosmetics and wellness market has expanded rapidly, with the total market value estimated at approximately NRs 2.36 billion and cosmetic and personal care imports projected to reach NRs 2.04 billion by 2025. The sector is growing at an annual rate of 20–25 percent, with primary consumers being urban women aged 16 to 30 years. The organizers say Cosmetica 2025 offers an excellent opportunity for producers and distributors to strengthen their presence in Nepal and engage in knowledge sharing and networking.
