Consultation to be held on Foreign Policy: Foreign Minister Paudyal

Dr Bimala Rai Paudyal, Minister for Foreign Affairs, stated that the consultations with experts will be held so as to make the Foreign Policy-2077 relevant.

During her interaction with the media at her office Wednesday, Dr Paudyal mentioned that foreign policy has to be up-to-date according to the changed context.

Foreign Minister Paudyal, at the invitation of Foreign Minister of Sri Lanka M.U.M. Ali Sabry, is leaving for Sri Lanka today to participate in the 75th Independence Day celebrations as an honorary guest in Colombo on 3-4 February.

The Foreign Minister, scheduled to return to Kathmandu on 5th February, will pay courtesy calls on President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe and Prime Minister Dinesh Chandra Rupasinghe Gunawardena. She will also attend the reception hosted by President Wickremesinghe at the President’s House on 4th February.
