Cloudy weather and possible rain forecasted for parts of Nepal

A westerly and local wind, along with a low-pressure area in the lower atmosphere near eastern Nepal, is having a partial impact. Due to this partial influence, various parts of the country experienced cloudy weather on Sunday. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces will generally be cloudy, while the hilly and mountainous regions of Madhesh Province, as well as Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, will see partial cloud cover. The rest of the country is expected to have mainly clear weather.

There is also a possibility of moderate rain or snowfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as in one or two locations in the hilly and mountainous areas of Lumbini Province, and the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The Department has also indicated that the Tarai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces may experience hot weather.
