Cabinet approves work division regulations and amends e-governance order

The government has made public the decisions from the Cabinet meeting held today, Wednesday.

Minister for Information, Communication, and Technology, Bikram Timilsina, shared details of four main points from the meeting at a program organized at the ministry.

The meeting decided to approve the ‘Government of Nepal Work Division Regulations 2083’, considered important for administrative and legal reforms.

Similarly, the Cabinet has approved a proposal to amend the ‘Electronic Governance Commission Formation and Operation Order 2079’ to further streamline technology-friendly services, according to Minister Timilsina.

Additionally, two public representatives have been nominated as members of the ‘Government Investment Management Committee’ to ensure effective management of government investments.

The nominees are Sushil Khadka, a member of the House of Representatives from Baglung, and Yogesh Gauchan Thakali, a member from Mustang.

Another key decision from the meeting was the approval of the ’21st Amendment to Land-Related Rules 2083′.
