Bus accident in Kavrepalanchok leaves 15 injured, identities revealed

In Kavrepalanchok, a passenger bus accident on the BP Highway in Namobuddha Municipality-2, Buchakot, has revealed the identities of the injured. The injured include 22-year-old Anisha Tamang from Roshi, 25-year-old Suresh Bahadur Tamang from Bardiya, 20-year-old Bishnu Dolma Tamang from Roshi, 60-year-old Dambar Bahadur Tamang, 30-year-old Chandra Tamang, 43-year-old Krishna Bahadur Tamang, 18-year-old Ramita Waiba, 40-year-old Manav Tamang, 62-year-old Bishnumaya Lama, and 34-year-old Ghoyasingh Tamang from Banepa.

Additionally, a one-year-old girl and a boy aged around 5 or 6 have been injured. The identity of a man approximately 60 years old remains unknown.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabin Bista of Kavrepalanchok, the accident resulted in 15 injuries and eight fatalities. The identities of the deceased have yet to be confirmed.

The injured were taken to Dhulikhel Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries.

The passenger bus, bearing the registration number Ba 2 Kha 8398, was traveling from Banepa towards Roshi Rural Municipality when it veered off the road and fell 200 meters down in Buchakot at around 2:15 PM on Friday.
