Sarlahi man attempts self-immolation over domestic dispute, airlifted to Kathmandu

A young man in Sarlahi has attempted self-immolation. According to Sarlahi police, 35-year-old Vivek Mandal from Godaita Municipality poured petrol over himself and set himself on fire. Arrangements are being made to airlift him to Kathmandu for treatment. Amresh Kumar Singh, a Member of Parliament from Rastriya Swatantra Party elected from Sarlahi-4, has also shared information about the incident on social media. It is reported that he attempted self-immolation due to a domestic dispute.
