Argentina pulled off an extraordinary comeback against Egypt by scoring three goals in the final 13 minutes and 15 seconds of the match. Trailing 2-0, Argentina secured a 3-2 victory, earning a spot in the quarterfinals with this incredible turnaround.

Despite being down 2-0, Argentina managed to achieve what seemed impossible by clinching the win within the regulation 90 minutes. Egypt had taken the lead in the 15th minute through a goal by Yasser Ibrahim. Mostafa Ziko doubled the lead in the 67th minute of the second half.

Argentina, goalless until the 79th minute, was kept in the game by a goal from Romero. Finally, in the 83rd minute, Lionel Messi scored the equalizer.

Earlier, Messi had missed a penalty in the first half. Energized by the equalizer, Argentina secured a 3-2 victory with a goal from Enzo Fernandez in the second minute of extra time, advancing to the quarterfinals.
