Nepal Rastra Bank announces today’s foreign exchange rates for major currencies

The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today (Monday). According to the central bank, the buying rate for one American dollar is set at NPR 152.84, while the selling rate is NPR 153.44.

Similarly, the buying rate for one European euro is NPR 176.39, with a selling rate of NPR 177.09. The buying rate for one UK pound sterling is NPR 204.26, and the selling rate is NPR 205.06. The Swiss franc is set at a buying rate of NPR 192 and a selling rate of NPR 192.75.

For the Australian dollar, the buying rate is NPR 108.12, and the selling rate is NPR 108.54. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 109.70 and a selling rate of NPR 110.13. The Singapore dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 118.72 and a selling rate of NPR 119.18.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.55, with a selling rate of NPR 9.59. The Chinese yuan has a buying rate of NPR 22.53 and a selling rate of NPR 22.62. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at a buying rate of NPR 40.70 and a selling rate of NPR 40.86, while the Qatari riyal has a buying rate of NPR 41.92 and a selling rate of NPR 42.09.

According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is NPR 4.66, with a selling rate of NPR 4.68. The UAE dirham is set at a buying rate of NPR 41.61 and a selling rate of NPR 41.77. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 37.52 and a selling rate of NPR 37.67. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is NPR 9.99, and the selling rate is NPR 10.03. The Swedish krona is set at a buying rate of NPR 16.23 and a selling rate of NPR 16.29, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of NPR 23.60 and a selling rate of NPR 23.69.

The Hong Kong dollar is set at a buying rate of NPR 19.50 and a selling rate of NPR 19.58. The Kuwaiti dinar has a buying rate of NPR 499.45 and a selling rate of NPR 499.40. The Bahraini dinar is set at a buying rate of NPR 405.30 and a selling rate of NPR 406.89, while the Omani riyal has a buying rate of NPR 396.97 and a selling rate of NPR 398.52. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is NPR 160, with a selling rate of NPR 160.15.

The central bank has noted that these exchange rates can be revised at any time as needed. It also mentioned that the exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary and that the updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
