Nepal’s economic growth projected at 3.85% for fiscal year 2082/83

Kathmandu— The economic growth rate for the current fiscal year 2082/83 is projected to be 3.85 percent.

Finance Minister Swarnim Wagle informed the House of Representatives on Wednesday that the economic survey for the fiscal year 2082/83 estimates a growth rate of 3.85 percent.

He stated that the size of the economy is expected to reach NPR 6.6 trillion, with the per capita national income projected to be 1,535 American dollars.

Additionally, it is estimated that agriculture will contribute 24 percent and non-agriculture sectors 76 percent to the Gross Domestic Product.
