Kathmandu – A dispute arose between Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) MP Ashika Tamang and traffic police at Thapathali intersection in Kathmandu.

The incident occurred when the traffic police did not allow the vehicle to move forward despite the green light. This led to Ashika becoming upset. Around 3 PM on Wednesday, when the driver of the vehicle she was in tried to move forward after the green light, the traffic police stopped them.

According to Ashika, when she raised a complaint, the traffic police officer, who was chewing gutkha, did not respond properly.

Ashika stated that she questioned the officer not as an MP but as an ordinary passenger.

After a brief argument with the traffic police officer, Ashika got out of the vehicle, expressing that such injustice should not occur. She then approached another nearby traffic police officer to discuss the matter.
