The Supreme Court has issued a short-term interim order to halt the implementation of the government’s decision to dissolve student unions. On Monday, a bench led by Justice Shrikant Paudel issued the interim order against the government’s decision. The Supreme Court has called both parties for a discussion regarding the interim order.

Deepak Dhami of the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU) had filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court challenging the government’s decision to dissolve student unions.
