Kathmandu— Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda), coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and former Prime Minister, has stated that the country’s national independence is in a very precarious state.

Speaking at an event in Kathmandu on Sunday, he remarked that the developments following the Gen-Z movement have not appeared positive. However, he noted that amidst the negativity, a positive aspect is emerging, which is the growing demand for unity among all.

“Since Bhadra 23, 24, various developments have occurred in Nepal. Within all these negative developments, I see a hidden positive basis. That is, there is now a growing demand for unity among all,” he said.

Prachanda emphasized that as voices are being raised to unify the entire communist movement within all communist parties, the leadership must accept this and move forward.
