Shekhar Golchha detained for four days over securities market violations

Businessman Shekhar Golchha has been granted a four-day detention by the court. The Kathmandu District Court has permitted the police to keep Golchha in custody for four days for investigation. He was arrested by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police on Thursday from Naxal, Kathmandu.

According to the CIB, the investigation against him is based on the preliminary inquiry report of the Nepal Securities Board from 2083. He is accused of illegal activities in the securities market, violating the law.
