Sudan Gurung Elected from Gorkha-1

Kathmandu — Sudan Gurung of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected from Gorkha Constituency No. 1 to the House of Representatives.

He secured 29,896 votes to win the parliamentary seat.

Nepali Congress candidate Prem Kumar Khatri received 15,398 votes, while Hari Raj Adhikari of the Communist Party of Nepal obtained 11,124 votes.
