Professor Dr Nirmala Mani Adhikary Appointed Member of Academic Council at Kathmandu University

Kathmandu — The Senate meeting of Kathmandu University held on Mangsir 23, 2082 BS under the Chairpersonship of Hon. Sushila Karki has appointed Professor Dr. Nirmalmani Adhikary, Head of the Department of Language and Mass Communication and Chair of the Media Studies Subject Committee, as a member of the University’s Academic Council.

According to the decision passed by the Senate, Dr. Adhikary’s term will be three years. The appointment was made in accordance with Clause 1(D) of Section 8 of the Kathmandu University Act, 2048.

Professor Adhikary’s appointment reflects his contributions to media studies and mass communication at Kathmandu University.
