Jammu and Kashmir – A devastating flood near the Machail Mata Temple in Kishtwar on Thursday resulted in the death of 33 people, with over 50 individuals rescued so far. According to the police, more than 120 people have been injured, and over 200 are reported missing, as mentioned by Indian media outlets.

Following the incident, relief and rescue teams were immediately dispatched to the site, and a large-scale operation was launched, as reported by the media. Union Minister Jitendra Singh expressed concerns that the disaster might have caused significant human casualties.
