Kathmandu – The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) once again obstructed today’s parliamentary session. As usual, the RPP boycotted the meeting, while the RSP staged a sit‑in and surrounded the well of the House.

They are protesting Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak’s alleged involvement in the “visit visa” scandal, demanding his resignation and the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee. Although the government has formed an administrative-level probe committee, both parties have objected to it, insisting it does not meet their demands.

They have been blocking Parliament since 27 May (Jestha 12).
