Due to the influence of a western low-pressure system, Kathmandu and most parts of the country experienced rain and snowfall on Friday and Saturday.

According to the Air Quality Index, Kathmandu city became the third or fourth most polluted city in the world.

Although the light rain on Friday and Saturday brought some improvement to the pollution, the air pollution in the valley has not completely subsided.

Looking at the roads and surrounding areas of Kathmandu, the dust has not significantly reduced. The state of pollution is similar in other places as well, not just the roads.
