Renowned wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71. Fans are mourning the loss of this great figure in the wrestling world. Reports indicate that Hogan died due to a heart attack.

According to TMZ, a heart attack occurred at Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida, prompting an emergency call. Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, and Hogan was transported to the hospital by ambulance on a stretcher.

The WWE confirmed Hogan’s death via their social media platform ‘X’. Although widely known as Hulk Hogan, his real name was Terry Bollea. He became a household name across the globe during the 1980s and 90s and had thousands of fans. Hogan debuted in professional wrestling in 1977 and quickly became a defining figure in the industry.

Even past the age of 50, Hogan continued to wrestle. In 2018, he was reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame after previously being removed due to the use of racial slurs.

In May of this year, Hogan underwent neck surgery, and recently, US Weekly reported that he had a ‘very serious’ heart surgery.

Born in Augusta, Georgia in 1953, Hogan gained fame in the 1980s through his ‘All-American’ image, famously known as ‘Hulkamania’. He played a crucial role in transforming the then-WWF (now WWE) into a national powerhouse.

Hulk Hogan has left an indelible mark not only in wrestling history but also in global pop culture and the entertainment industry. His passing has deeply saddened the world of wrestling.
