Twelve dead in bus accident in Dang

Dang, Jan 13: Twelve individuals lost life as the bus heading to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj plunged into the Rapti river at Bhaluwang in Dang.

Among twelve deceased, the identity of four is yet to be ascertained, police informed.

Over twenty have sustained injuries and are undergoing treatment at the Nepalgunj Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kohalpur, Banke; at hospital in Bhaluwang and Lamahi Hospital, according to the police.

 The ill-fated bust Bhe.1 Ka 3912 carrying 36 passengers fell into the Rapti river around 10:30 pm on Friday.
