Those who manipulate the Federal Civil Service Bill must be punished: Chairman Prachanda

Kathmandu – Maoist Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has alleged that a serious conspiracy took place during the passage of the Federal Civil Service Bill.

Speaking on Tuesday at the central executive meeting of the Young Communist League, Nepal (YCL) held at Parisdanda, he stated that the tendency to manipulate and tamper with the bill cannot be ignored, and that it must be investigated and dealt with accordingly.

“A conspiracy aimed at reversing the achievements of change has been ongoing. Today, you too have observed that such a conspiracy occurred concerning the Federal Civil Service Bill,” Dahal continued. “We are now taking steps to investigate who misbehaved in this bill and to initiate disciplinary action against those who manipulated or tampered with it.”

Chairperson Prachanda also warned that tendencies aiming to overturn the constitution and achievements earned through the blood and sweat of the people had been witnessed before, and now those dangers are still there. “When efforts are being made to reverse the status quo and regression, we halted the party’s campaign and launched a protest. That tendency still continues,” he remarked.

He urged YCL Nepal to advance with full commitment to the party’s ideology, line, and constitution. “YCL Nepal is the party’s successor organization and the power to shatter reactionary conspiracies,” he emphasized. “It is necessary to carry the constitution, ideology, and line passed by the party.” He concluded.
