The US immigration authorities send singer Astha Raut back to Nepal

Kathmandu: The US Immigration authorities have sent Singer Astha Raut back to Nepal after it was found that she was planning to organise a concert while traveling in a tourist visa.
The immigration authorities at Dallas (Texas) deported her back to Nepal telling that she would require to travel on a P 3 visa, not a tourist visa to participate in musical programmes.
Raut informed the organisers–United Home Care Service in Lancaster, USA– through her Facebook that she was sorry not to be able to attend the musical programme due to technical problems.
Along with Aastha, some other artists living the US were scheduled to attend the concert being organised to celebrate the New Year.
