Tara Air successfully conducted test flight in Resunga Airport
A test flight has been conducted at Resunga Airport, Gulmi on Sunday.
Tara Air, in collaboration with the Resunga municipality, carried out a successful test flight. The flight was conducted by senior pilots Captain Santosh Kumar Saha and Captain Sanjib Shrestha, according to Tara Air’s spokesman Sudarshan Bartaula.
He further said that the process for carrying out regular flights begins with the success of the test flight. According to him, it will at least take 2-3 weeks for conducting regular flights to Resunga.
A Tara Air Twin otter-400 plane with the call sign 9N ALO took off from Tribhuvan International Airport for Resunga at 11.14 am and landed at Resunga Airport, Simichaur, Resunga Municipality-10 at 12 o’Clock.
Chandra Bhandari (NC’s HoR member from Gulmi), Pradip Kumar Gyawali (deputy general secretary, CPM-UML), Dhanendra Bahadur Karki (member, Provincial legislature), Ram Kumari Jhankri (secretary, CPN-US), Resunga Municipality mayor Khila Dhwaj Panthi and officials of Tara Air and Cvil Aviation Authority of Nepal were on board the plane.
