Tamang Community Celebrates Sonam Lhosar ( PHOTOS )

Kathmandu – The Tamang community is celebrating Sonam Lhosar today by organizing various programs. Sonam Lhosar is being celebrated with great joy in areas with significant Tamang settlements, including the Kathmandu Valley.

On the occasion of Lhosar, a special program has also been organized at Tundikhel in Kathmandu. The Tamang community showcased their cultural and religious dances, as well as traditional displays, during the Lhosar festival at Tundikhel.

On this day, fairs and festivals are typically held in areas where Tamang people reside. The Tamang community celebrates this day as the beginning of their New Year.
