Sandeep Lamichhane to release on bail
Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane has got an order in his favor from The Patan High Court Thursday.
Lamichhane was charged for raping a minor and was detained after the Kathmandu District Court verdict dated 18th Ashoj. He filed a petition against the detention order.
The hearing Thursday of the joint bench -Dhurva Raj Nanda and Ramesh Dhakal ordered to release him on bail of Rs 2 million. The bench has also barred his visit out of the nation until final decision of the case.
Lamichhane will be released only Friday due to not having completed the bailing process as the office hour today was already over.
