Ruling coalition to introduce CMP today
The meeting of ruling coalition partners held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar Wednesday decided to finalise the common minimum programme (CMP) of the government by Thursday.
The common minimum programme with a focus on issues related to people at large is said to include corruption control, people’s daily life and other policy-level issues.
The cabinet would be expanded after the government’s common minimum programme is introduced and vote of confidence is secured, said Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
The further discussions in the meeting include giving full-shape to the federal government, formation of provincial government along with the country’s contemporary political and social issues.
