Rosalynn Carter, former first lady, dies at 96
Kathmandu, Nov 20: Rosalynn Carter, former first lady of the United States and a renowned mental health and women’s rights activist, passed away on Sunday at the age of 96.
Mrs. Carter is survived by her husband, Jimmy Carter, 39th president of the U.S. and four children.
“Rosalynn was my equal partner in everything I ever accomplished,” said the Carter Center, quoting former president Carter, aged 99.
