Rice transplanting in Khumaltar on the occasion of the 22nd National Paddy Day (pictures)

Kathmandu – On the occasion of the 22nd National Paddy (Rice) Day, a special rice‑transplanting program was held at the Nepal Agriculture Research Council’s farm in Khumaltar.

The event saw a strong turnout, including the Agriculture Minister, various government officials, scientists, and farmers. Today marks the start of traditional and enthusiastic rice‑planting ceremonies across the country in celebration of Paddy Day.
