Reality shows with 1 crore prize money call for applications

The Intra-National Welfare and Support Foundation based on U.S. has announced hosting the singing and dancing reality shows entitled “Mero Dance Universe” and “Mero Voice Universe”.

Anyone above 18 years old with the ability to speak and understand Nepali language across the globe is eligible to apply. Applications can be registered via Intra Foundation APP till the end of January, the press release reads.

At the announcement ceremony held at Marriot Hotel, Naxal, Dilli Adhikari, president of the foundation stated that the main aim of organizing the international singing and dancing reality show is to bring musical revolution in Nepali entertainment industry.

The judging panel for the Mero Voice Universe comprised of Suresh Adhikari, Shiva Pariyar, Anju Panta, Sujata Varma, and Pushpan Pradhan whereas Mero Dance Universe will be judged by Mithila Sharma, Dilip Rayamajhi, Shankar BC, Keki Adhikari, Priyanka Karki, and Narman Rai. Meanwhile, Aleen Shrestha will be directing both the shows.

It has been announced that both of the shows provide Rs One Crore for the winner and first and second runners-up will be receiving Rs 30 and 20 lakhs respectively.

Stating that this is the highest cash prize ever offered within reality show realm in Nepal, the foundation besides Nepal, aims to allure massive participation from several countries with Nepali speaking communities including Myanmar, Thailand, Bhutan, India, Australia, United States, Canada and some European countries.
